@redversa721
Thanks again for sharing.

Regarding unfilled gaps below and unfilled gaps above, some traders believe that
many unfilled gaps tend to be filled sooner or later. So, currently some traders
speculate that if market indices should break down through their support level,
then the move down could be significant because there are so many unfilled gaps
below. That's all I know.

Best wishes with your trading.

Week 11
Total Buys 24
Wins : 12
Loss
Unsold : 12

weekly p&l
Gain Only: 76.25
Loss Only:

Total:
Total Gain : 1303.15 [ Since Start]
Total Loss : -261.76 [Since Start]
Net : 1041.39 [ Since Start]

Week 1 unsold : 0
Week 2 unsold : 2
Week 3 unsold : 1
Week 4 unsold : 1
Week 5 Unsold : 0
Week 6 Unsold : 2
Week 7 Unsold : 0
Week 8 Unsold : 0
Week 9 Unsold : 0
Week 10 Unsold : 8
Week 11 Unsold : 12

Win % : 84.96
Loss % : 4.47
Unsold % : 10.57

Summary: This has been the worst week so far. only 12 stocks got sold and then rest were at some times down 30-40%. About 10 of the 12 unsold stocks are now at 20-30% loss.

From week 10, where I had 8 unsold stocks, they are still unsold and there was a lot of jigsawing in terms of how fast these stocks can drop.

I would say if I include my unrealized losses, my net gain since start is around $500.

Will still keep holding the losses for a few months and see what happens. On to hopefully a more positive week

redversa721,
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR SHARING.
A gain of $500 including unrealized losses is still very good.

Maybe there is no need to go with a pure CROCK POT 2.0 since it is a modified
TRO CROCK POT original anyway.

So, if you decide to fine tune your trading and money management decisions,
maybe you could look at some posts and comments in various CROCK POT threads,
snappyfrog's Murder Hornets, or some posts and comments in Kevin_in_GA's
Pangolin Z thread. There are other good ideas from other good honest people.

Thanks again, and best wishes.

@redversa721

You've talked about automating your trade decisions. It may be simpler and less arbitrary
to automate some of sammyn's and davesaint86's TQQQ ideas here:

https://www.stockfetcher.com/forums/Stock-Picks/Any-good-systems-for-TQQQ/145281

Best wishes.

Thanks Cheese for all the ideas. hahaha. you are SF's librarian :)

When I started this test run, I wanted to run the same for 50 weeks or until I wipe out 5K whichever comes first. I am not very good at running multiple scenarios at the same time, so for now just gonna stick with it.

Also around week 30-40, I plan to spend some time automating the entry and exits, if this turns out viable.

Thanks for all the feedback and I am not sure how you even remember all the comments that people make. It's frankly amazing. Take care

Currently I have run the following scenarios.

Most profitable is i run a long term stochastic / ultimate oscillator based filter on a set of 40 stocks and i just go in and out of it. That's the best so far

Second most profitable are just regular etf's

third surprisingly is run forest run.

Now I am trying TRO based on my sort modification

finally my long term small stock that I have detailed in an another thread.

This is already too much for me..hahahha, so gonna try to keep life simple

hahaha
redversa721, I know you are smart.

I'm still trying to be as simple as the greatest sF minds of the earlier years.
It's hard, but I enjoy the journey.

@redversa721,

I picked the top 20 on nov13 and my stats show that 14 achieved > 2.4% which differs from the 12 you are showing. Could you compare my list below to your first 20 so I can figure out what I did wrong?

thanks,
Ed S.
