The tool I'm looking for is described at https://www.stockfetcher.com/help/Interactive-Candlestick-Pattern-Tool/100345.
I can't find anything more about that tool other than what's on that help page.
Does it exist?

At the bottom of that link you posted, it says "email us".
U ought to email SF and ask them about it.
I only have a vague recollection of ever seeing that page .. many years ago.

Stockfetcher used to have something called "user definable candlestick patterns." I think it ran on an Applet?
There was this:
