Bubble deflating ...
Reminds me of the day my neighbor went out to his car and saw he had a flat tire.
"I don't know how that happened", he said.
Sad.
He rarely drove the car. I watched that tire lose air for months ... wondering if he noticed it.
Just like this market.

@ karennma
I feel with you because I have positions that are trapped, too.
The best advice that I got from a better trader/investor is to DO A CASH TEST.
Ask ourselves: If we were 100% in cash, do we believe that there is value at these levels?
If the answer is yes, and our holdings are blue chips bought with cash and not on margin,
then there is little risk of bankruptcy.
America is pretty much the only game in town. Americans are in a better place than many others.

THE REAL STICKY PROBLEM WITH CHINA TRADE
Treasury Secretary Mnuchin is now back in the lead of trade talk with Liu He,
putting aside the infighting on the American side on for now,
Apparently, a few months ago, Treasury Secretary Mnuchin had worked out a deal with Liu He,
China chief negotiator. That deal got Trump's support, until some House Republicans and Democrats
cirticized trump for being too soft on the Chinese. So Trump back pedaled and reneged like
he often did with many people and many situations. The American side then tried to get a better deal.
But the Chinese already knew where the Americans are willing to accept. So, business news
from WSJ, Bloomberg, CNBC of today Nov 15 said that the Chinese side only gave a rehash
of their existing positions.

Business Insider (Nov 15, 2018 p.m.)
Trump seems to be backing down in the trade war with China after electoral blowback and growing economic worries.
p.s.
A few months ago, Mnuchin and Liu He already got to a deal that Trump could live with

Wheww! That was a helluva correction.
Looks like it's over ... at least, the stocks I HAD have now reversed.
NVDA $280 to $152. That was bad.

With all that the President has on his table, I guess someone brought to his attention, the market was crashing.
"Trump attacks Fed Chairman Powell: 'I'm not even a little bit happy with my selection of Jay' .."
Here we go again ...
"You're fired!"
