"The president has previously criticized the Federal Reserve, saying they should do "what's good for the country." He's also said he's "not thrilled" with Powell for continuing to raise interest rates."
There's your green flag.

@risjr,
Yeah, this is crazy. AMZN up $100?
DOW up 585?
Nothing is "normal" anymore.

I think Jerome Powell saved his butt yesterday. (I wanna keep my job, therefore, I will not raise int. rates.)
Thus, the big rally.

At the September peak, we estimated that a conventional portfolio mix invested 60% in the S&P 500, 30% in Treasury bonds, and 10% in Treasury bills was likely to produce total returns averaging just 0.48% annually over the coming 12-year horizon.

@ Four,
Thanks for the insightful article.
Quote: "so my sense is that a major price collapse like 2000-2002 and 2007-2009 is the most likely way this bubble will be resolved."
Look at AMZN, AAPL, NVDA, NFLX & FB (charts).
Isn't a 20% drop considered a bear market?
Did the bubble already pop and this is the rebound?
Looking at the pre-market action this morning, I'm just shaking my head.
AMZN is up $75 in pre-market.
This is a sick market.
Honestly, I don't know what's going on ...
Larry Kudlow called this a "correction" just like any other a month ago.
SMH ...
I don't know.
I'm just speechless.

Geesh!
NVDA went from 290 to 136 in 2.5 months!
THAT is f* up.

Inverted Yield Curve
https://www.aol.com/article/finance/2018/12/03/the-treasury-yield-curve-just-inverted-sounding-the-alarm-for-recession/23607515/
"“This solidifies not only my flattening bias but I think it will lead many players in the market who [expected the yield curve to steepen] to capitulate on that,” Lyngen said."

Are you a paid contrarian pumper that goes from site to site and what does it pay?
You’ve been doing this for decades and you’ve never been right about a bear market.
At this pont this is a legitimate question.
